Food Crews
Food crews will prepare a simple dinner and breakfast “to go” meal for Room at the Inn Guests. Since there will be no space for communal dining this year, all meals will be pre-packed in a large lunch bag, and will be a simple sandwich, snack, chips and drink. Breakfast will be pre-packed as well.
We are encouraging church and civic groups to sign up for a week of meals (Sunday dinner-Friday dinner). Breakfast meals may be prepared at the same time as dinners are prepared, and will be refrigerated as needed.
If your church or civic group would prefer a shorter commitment, we will need meals prepared for Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast. See the schedule for available dates.
All Saturday morning breakfasts will be prepared by the Saturday Café volunteers from First Presbyterian Church and the Korean Presbyterian Church.
Meals may be prepared in your church kitchen or in the kitchen at the Eastwood Motel, 2518 Business Loop 70E. Kitchen capacity is limited to 3 people. Food crew volunteers will be asked to transport meals to the Eastwood location and to the Unitarian Universalist Church.
Dinner meals will be served to Guests beginning at 6:30 PM; breakfast meals will be served at 6:30-7 AM.
