Howard County Group Runs

An Athletes Serving Athletes Group Training Run is exactly that – your local ASA community getting together to run and train together.  Please sign up below to let us know when you are coming.  If you are coming as a guest to check out ASA - at a group training run you will be running as part of a Wingman Team with an ASA Athlete and other runners, led by a Captain who will manage the team and ensure a great experience for all.  No experience with disabilities is necessary.  These are an excellent way to connect with our community! 
 

  • If you are not a registered WingMan, Captain, or WingMan, please sign up as a "Guest" on the date you are available, complete a Participation Waiver, and come join us for a run with no commitment! Due to COVID-19, there is additional information in the waiver regarding precautions we are taking.  To read the full document – please click HERE.

 

Reminders

  • Please contact the Onsite Coordinator via the contact details provided on each specific Sign Up Date if you have any changes or need anything the day of training.
  • Please do not bring pets or children.
  • Equipment Transport & Onsite Manager – Julie will contact you the week of training to provide you additional information about your roles for that group run.

 

Location/Parking

**UPDATED LOCATION AND PARKING INFORMATION**

LOCATION: We will meet at 9801 Broken Land Parkway, Columbia, MD 21046.  We have permission to park in the Lakeview Office Building parking lot.  

Every vehicle MUST have a parking permit displayed on their dashboard. Permits will be distributed to each Athlete, Captain, and Wingman vehicle and collected after every training. Athletes are able to park at the trail access, Wingmen and Captains are allowed to park in the adjacent lot behind the building. Sorry for the extra walk. 

There are no bathrooms or port-a-pottys available at the park due to current restrictions.
