K'nex Science Day

Parent Volunteers

We are looking for family volunteers to help run a fun K'nex building day.  Students will be using kits to assemble models of simple machines.  Adults are needed to help keep the stations organized, encourage students to keep trying, and to help promote deeper thinking on the topics of simple machines while students work together to build models.  Adults are being asked to stay for the morning 8-11 or the afternoon 12-3 or both.  This activity is for students in grades 2-5.  Grades K-1 will be offered a developmentally appropriate alternative within their classrooms.  Thank you for helping make this event a success for our students.
