We're fast approaching our 9th Annual Arts & Crafts Faire to be held on November 17 and 18th, 2018 and the Knights of Columbus (KofC) will need all the help possible.
Since the Edge/ Confirmation Program did such an awesome job the past THREE years, we have been asked again to host the Snack Bar. Proceeds from this event directly support our KofC scholarship fund - scholarships are given out in June/ July of each year for the upcoming school year.
PARENTS: Because of the magnitude of this event and with EDGE hosting the "snack bar", we'll allow you to gift your hours (up to 4 hours) to your child/ren for helping before, during, and/or after the event.
For parents who can't physically be there to help that weekend, we'll also have signups to donate Smart & Final gifts cards or cash in exchange for volunteer hours (PARENTS: $20 donation = 1 hour of community service for your child - not to exceed 2 hours per child). The donated gift cards and money will go towards purchasing food, drinks, and condiments for the snack bar that the EDGE group will host.
All donations of Smart & Final gift cards or cash must be received on or before 5:00 pm, Nov 1st. Donations can be turned in during ONE EIGHT/EDGE nights, or to the Religious Education office, or Church office. Please put your name on the outside of the envelope and specify KofC Arts and Crafts Faire.
If all the times slots are taken for community service hours or volunteer hours, it doesn't mean we can't use your help; BUT you'll have to give Mr. Camerino an email or call PRIOR to the event. (Please don't just show up and ask if we can accommodate your child for community service hours the days of the event.)
Please contact me via email/phone if you have any questions.
Thanks for your time in advance,
EDwin Camerino (Cell: 415-370-1214) or email: [email protected]
