Students and their families will get together for a fun and exciting STEM+families night at Bells Mill school on January 31st, 6:30-8:00pm. We are looking for parent volunteers to support many fun STEM activities planned for this night. Please consider to volunteer your time to support (only) one of the activities listed below.
ALL parents are encouraged to volunteer! The PTA STEM committee will provide you with detailed instructions of the activity or hands on experiment, complete explanations, and the materials needed. The parent volunteers supporting an experiment will be responsible for demoing and explaining the chosen experiment to the students visiting their center and helping them with the planned hands on experiment or activity throughout the event. Grade 4 & 5 students or older siblings are welcome to participate in helping their parents with the demo activities under their supervision. You can also participate in the capacity of helping with logistics, greetings and crowd directions during the event.
If you are interested and would be able to support the implementation of the experiments and hands on activities during the STEM night please let us know by signing below (please add your email or contact information). Please contact Tina Ehtiati at [email protected] for detailed information about the activities, instructions and material.
