Meal Train

Wanting a way to do something for survivors of human trafficking? You can always provide groceries!

All food will be delivered to ESTN offices. Please deliver anytime between 9am and 4pm. If a later drop-off time is needed, please email us ([email protected]) and we will try our best to make other arrangements.

We are asking volunteers to provide the following items for a group of 8 survivors:

-MONDAY SLOTS ONLY: Lunch staples. Please bring a gallon of milk, a loaf or two of bread, some cold cuts/cheese, and a couple bags of chips.

-THURSDAY SLOTS ONLY: An assortment of fruits and vegetables. Choose 4-6 items off of this list:

lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, onions, celery, cauliflower, cabbage, bell peppers, mushrooms, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, bananas, apples, pears, lemons, limes, canned goods (peas, corn, beans, tomato sauce, etc)

Flour, sugar, coffee, or beverages would also be great if possible.

-ALL SLOTS: Ingredients for one simple, healthy meal.

Something relatively simple that the survivors can make together and share at the safe house. You can be creative with this- feel free to include a family recipe! Whatever you like.

-ALL SLOTS: A printed recipe with instructions on how to make the meal.

**Do not think of this as providing ALL of the food that the survivors will have all week- they get food from lots of places. We don't want you to break the bank providing all kinds of groceries! This is just a way for them to have a few options at home throughout the week that are simple, tasty, and healthy.
