Thank you for considering organizing one of our monthly pot lucks!
Several dates are provided. I've made space for two people to volunteer for each, but that's not required. One person can do it. The organizer has the following responsibilities:
- Arrive a little early to pull out plates, utensils, napkins, serving spoons
- Provide drinks (for example, lemonade or tea); note that, if you want coffee, it will need to be made in the gym kitchen and then brought up in the serving container
- Decide if you want to coordinate any sort of event or theme with the pot luck - such as a fun theme, a family event, a charity event, a speaker; if you need a different space or more time, coordinate with Jacqueline to schedule; and please ask for volunteers to help you!
A few notes. (1) The location is the Darvish Room on the 2nd level of the Parish Center. (2) Unless you as the coordinator would like to do the food differently, I'll send out general guidance each month for what people should bring based on their last name (alphabetical break down for mains, sides and desserts). - Christy
