Temple Lutheran Church
Temple Lutheran plans to feed at least 150 homeless people at the 63rd Street Life Center on January 14, 2020 and we need your help. Please indicate what food items (and how many) you will be able to provide and/or if you will be able to help serve.
Contact Susan Best (call or text 610-592-4358 or email [email protected]) if you have questions on the food items or you need to make a change.
Contact Mark Procknow (215-817-3562 or [email protected]) for any questions on serving.
The meat loaves, meatballs, and mac & cheese need to be cooked when brought to the church. Food delivered on or before Saturday, January 11 should be put in the freezer in the Cafe. After that, put food in the refrigerator. All food should be brought to the kitchen by 3 pm on Tuesday, January 14. If brought to the kitchen after 3 pm, it must be HOT.
Aluminum foil baking pans for both mac & cheese and meat loaf are available in the cabinets in the back of the church or in the kitchen.
Please label your items for the Life Center when you leave them in the freezer, refrigerator or kitchen. There should be a plastic bin available on Sunday for the fruit - please take the fruit out of plastic bags.
