Phipps Center Special Events
Friday, October 23, 4:30 – 7 p.m.
Please RSVP below for the Project 30.1 OPEN HOUSE @ The Phipps
Sign up for your 20 minute slot to go into the Black Box Theater where the artist's panels will be on view for the first time! (20 minute slots: 5:00, 5:20, 5:40, 6:00, 6:20, and 6:40)
See the panels created by the seven artists selected for community mural Project 30.1, meet these artists, look at the more than 300 unique faces painted by community members for the mural, and learn about the plans for the mural’s completion, including ways you can still get involved. When completed, Project 30.1 will be a visual reminder of the active and ongoing commitment needed to create change for racial equality and social justice.
Take time while you are at The Phipps to see the new exhibits in the Galleries and in the Lobby. To learn more about these, go to https://thephipps.org/event/gallery-exhibit-october-23-november-29/. Galleries are always free and for this event are open until 8:00 p.m.
