Art-Inspired Connections: Transcending Stereotypes, Finding Commonality, and Celebrating Differences

A panel discussion with artists from Where We Are From and speakers from the Islamic Resource Group. Saturday, November 7, 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Join regional artists and speakers from the Islamic Resource Group for a Zoom panel discussion insipired by thte themes explored in Where We Are From and Tracks in the Snow. Presenters will share their personal versions of the poem by George Ella Lyon, Where I am From. These, as well as meaninful objects shared by the panelists and artwork in the exhibits will createe a springboard for conversations on criticial issues of inclusion and diversity facing society today.
