Class of 2021 and 2022
Operation Graduation 2019
Parents/Guardians of the Class of 2020, 2021 and 2022,
The end of the year is upon us! The class of 2021 (with help from Class of 2022 and 2020) is selling and delivering balloons to celebrate the graduating class.
As you can imagine, this is a huge undertaking. We need everyone's help on Wednesday, May 29 to make this a success! Please sign up to help with various jobs from inflating balloons, tying ribbons, attaching cards, and bundling each graduate's balloon bouquet. These are areas where students can help as well. Please share this information with your student and encourage them to join us, and help them to sign up on this Signup Genius so we know we can count on their help! Students are welcome to help after their last class on the 29th, but most students will arrive at 12:35.
Also, we need drivers!! Freshman and juniors who come to the cafeteria with their parents to help with balloon deliveries will earn one volunteer hour for each slot you are signed up for. (Check in with faculty advisor in cafeteria!!!) (Some deliveries can take 45 minutes up to an hour with driving time, etc so please don't sign up for slots closer together than every 45 minutes). Sophomores who do the same will earn a raffle ticket for each slot - winner gets a FREE JUNIOR PROM TICKET!!! Parents/guardians to do the driving and have your student help you with the deliveries. NO STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED TO DELIVER BALLOONS WITHOUT A PARENT. As many of you know who have delivered balloons in the past, it can be dangerous to drive with a car load of balloons and many of these deliveries are on busy roads. We want to keep our children safe. Please use the opportunity to have a good time with your child!! Park in the bus loop and go straight through courtyard to cafeteria.
We will have the drivers timed to come to the school cafeteria at specific times so that there is organization. We will have addresses and directions for each driver.
This is going to be a fun time. Please consider helping out. We will take anyone, but those with mini-vans would be great. Please tell us what kind of car you have when signing up. If you have any questions, please contact Danielle Hankey at [email protected]
Thank you for helping us!
