Congregation Beth Emeth
Mitzvah Day or Good Deeds Day is an annual celebration of doing good—where all around the world hundreds of thousands of Jews volunteer to help others, putting into practice the simple idea that every single person can do something good. Mitzvah Day celebrates the value and importance of giving back to the community we live in.
A brief recap of the projects -- please scroll down to sign up. All project end times are approximate, and you are welcome to move between projects during the morning! Also for longer projects, if you want to sign up for a shorter time you can indicate that in the comments.
Due to the expected rain on March 31 we moved the following outdoor projects to April 28
- Playground Spruce-up/Enhancement. We'll work with the BEECC Parents' Association to clean and refresh playground equipment.
- CBE Outdoor Safety Improvements and Enhancements. We'll paint markings on the driveway entrance and spray paint the existing bollard lights to match the new bollard lights that are being installed.
- Social Hall Chairs cleaning. For the upcoming congregational events we will power wash the stackable chairs that are used in the Social Hall.
