Volunteers and Donations Needed!
During the week of January 20 - 27, 2019, CBE members along with Shoreshim members will again participate in feeding and caring for the homeless at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 11900 Lawyers Rd., Reston VA 20191 (Google map). Thank you to Ted Benjamin for serving as the CBE captain. This is our 12th year! Shoreshim is a 45 year old Jewish Chavurah in Reston with a vibrant and friendly "shul without walls" that serves Northern Virginia.

- Prepare and/or Serve Dinner on Monday, January 21, 2019 at St. John Neumann Church for up to 100 guests
- Donate Dinner food, drinks and items for centerpieces
- Donate Breakfast foods
- Donate Clothing
- Donate Gift Cards
Breakfast food, non-perishable dinner items, clothing and gift card donations begin Sunday Jan 13 when there will be collection bins in the CBE Lobby (please leave gift cards in the main CBE office). Perishable food for our dinner on Jan 21 can be dropped off after 4:30 pm on Jan 21 at the St. John Neumann Church on Lawyers Rd in Reston. If this is inconvenient, please contact Ted Benjamin to make alternate arrangements
Age Constraints: Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. However, children between the ages of 13 and 17 are allowed to work with the Hypothermia waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Click here to download a copy of the waiver.
