Books For Kids Day is Saturday, June 4th, and is held in the parking lot of Poly-Western High School at 1400 W Coldspring Lane.
Our annual volunteer and book collection event is a time for us to celebrate the great work we do to help thousands of children each year and to say thank you to the many people who keep our programs going by volunteering their time.
In the morning, we will need people to help us set up and check in volunteers. We will also need lots of people to help us sort books, unload cars, greet donors, and collect receipts. In the second half of the day, we will need more people to help sort, greet, unload, and then break down and clean up. We are usually finished by 2.
