Bike to Highcrest
Parent and 4th Graders: sign up for the 5th Annual Bike Hike
from Central School to Highcrest on June 6th at 3:30pm.
Use this sign up to register kids and adults! We need volunteers to help us get the kids ready (check-in, check helmets and tires) AND we need 2 parent riders per group of 6-8 student riders who will ride their bikes to Highcrest with the kids. Parents who help check-in can also ride with the kids if they choose!
Adults and 4th Graders need to have a functioning bike and must be wearing a helmet. Unfortunately, for the safety of everyone, only siblings in trailers or seats will be allowed. The goal of this ride is to teach the preferred route, encourage safe riding, have fun and discover how easy it is to ride to Highcrest.
Please note that there will be no supervision from 3:15pm, kids are welcome to go home to get their bikes. Check-in will start at 3:20pm, the first group will plan on leaving at 3:40pm -- we will leave in small groups of 8, at 1 minute intervals. Mr. Dubnow will be welcoming us, and showing the kids where the bike racks are in the back of the school. We will then all ride back to Central School, we expect to be back by 4:30-4:40pm.
Please make appropriate arrangements to meet your child at the return.
Please make sure to read the attached waiver form, as signing up to this event implies your consent to the conditions stated.
