Capital Off Road Pathfinders

Battle of CamRock 2019

The Battle of CamRock is brought to you by Capital Off Road Pathfinders (CORP).  Our group builds and maintains the trail system at the Dane County CamRock Park with 100% volunteer hours.

Every week there are volunteers working hard to keep these trails in shape for a great riding experience. Many times throughout the year we have Trail Days to cleanup, build and maintain this system of trails. Every spring about 30 volunteers working hard to get these trails ready for the Battle of CamRock and the summer season! Watch the MadCityDirt.com web site for upcoming trail activities.

Holding the Battle of CamRock WORS race allows CORP to generate funds that are needed to enhance the trail system at CamRock as well as our other trail systems in the south central region of Wisconsin.

The race weekend requires about 100 people to perform a few simple tasks for about 4 hours. More volunteers means shorter shifts for everyone! Our group has put on this event for seven years and we know how organize a successful event. You can help by volunteering to perform one or more of the various tasks required to make this the best race in the series.

Please fill out the Volunteer Form to let us know how you can help volunteer for this great event. Feel free to fill out multiple slots if you are able to do so! Time slots are set up to allow time for you to check in with the volunteer coordinator and get to your volunteer location. Time slots do overlap to make sure there is always someone present at all locations. Volunteers will get a spiffy shirt and a food voucher for sustenance from one of the on site food vendors. You may be asked to arrive a few minutes earlier than your shift start time in order to get your food before making your way to your assigned post. We will utilize radios for several volunteer positions. The assigned radios will be preset to the correct channel.

Pizza will be provided for Friday and Saturday. Food deliveries will be made to those that are not near the expo area and sign up for multiple shifts on Sunday.

ALL VOLUNTEERS THAT CHECK-IN WILL BE ENTERED INTO A RAFFLE TO WIN PRIZES VALUED AT $400.00

For those that plan to race and volunteer please select a task that allows you to either prep for your race or finish your race and get to the Volunteer Check In on time. Adjustments can be made on an individual basis.
