PIT CREW (also known as the Pit Papas and Pit Mamas) is responsible for assisting the pit musicians in transferring their instruments (e.g. marimbas, vibraphones, gong, electronics) and the drum major platforms on and off the field before and after performances. Volunteers are on the field and get to call themselves "roadies with the band." Pit crew members get free admission to the football games (when working). Sneakers and leather gloves are recommended. Some heavy
Pit crew members report to the south end of the school at 6:30 pm to move equipment up to the football field, which takes about 45 minutes. Members report again at the west end of the track just before halftime. After transporting the carts back to the building, members are done and can enjoy the rest of the game!
SPIRIT WEAR SALES We will have a terrific selection of t-shirts and sweatshirts for sale promoting this year's marching band program! All proceeds are used to help fund the band program. Volunteers will staff a table set up near the concession stand.
