Brassfield Elementary School
It's hard to believe the holidays are upon us. That means it's almost time to get out the flour and sugar and send some good cheer to all of the teachers and staff at Brassfield who do so much for our children every day. Each year, the PTA Staff Appreciation & Hospitality Committee, together with the support of our wonderful parent volunteers, assembles a box of homemade cookies for each teacher and staff member at the school. We are also requesting vegan, dairy free, gluten free and nut/coconut free options, as well as, whole fruit for the staff with dietary restrictions.
Please sign up to prepare cookies in lots of 1 dozen and feel free to sign up for multiples as we have almost 90 staff members to bless with your delicious treats. All cookies should be delivered in disposable or reusable containers to the cafeteria by Friday, December 6 by 9:15 a.m. Track 2 will be tracked out on this day, but we ask all classes to participate, since all staff will receive cookie boxes. Track 2 parents have three options: drop off cookies in the morning, give them to a Track 1, 3 or 4 neighbor to bring in, or drop them off by Thursday afternoon, December 5th, in the office.
We will also need people to volunteer to help with assembling the boxes. If you've got a good hand for arranging and ribbon-tying, you'll be much appreciated!
We hear countless compliments and words of thanks for doing this and have been told repeatedly it's one of their favorite days of the school year! If you have any questions, please contact Julie Karg, [email protected]
