St. John's Parish Office
Every second Thursday of the month, volunteers from St. John's will be providing main dishes for the weeknight meal at Hope Community Services. We will be serving 80-150 folks from the community.
One Thursday per month, we will need 12 volunteers to prepare casseroles that are equivalent of two 9 x 13 casseroles including a protein, veggie and a starch.Recipes will be provided, or you can cook a dish of your choice as long as the same protein is used.
There are 20" casserole pans at St John's for your use. You can deliver your cooked casserole to the parish office (temporarily in the Thorne Room) by 11:00 am on meal day. If you are making it later in the day, it needs to be delivered to Hope Community Services (hot) by 3:00 pm. We are also able to reimburse for ingredients if you wish to leave a receipt with Laura Rawlings in the parish office.
