Aiken Pickleball
"Little Mo" is back! Starting Wednesday, April 7th, and every Wednesday thereafter until the middle of June. The drills will be held at Odell Weeks and Smith-Hazel Recreation Centers.
At Smith-Hazel there will be two sessions each Wednesday morning with the same theme back-to-back - 915am-1015am and 1030am-1130am. Smith-Hazel is located at 400 Kershaw Street in northeast Aiken. The card you use to access Odell Weeks will allow you entry into Smith-Hazel.
At Odell, there will be an evening session on Wednesday from 6-7pm, with the same theme as the morning sessions.
Note: Odell is closed April 14th. Dinks with a purpose moved to evening of April 21st.
Smith-Hazel is not available for play on April 21st. Both morning sessions moved to Odell Weeks, Court 1, starting at 9:15am.
Cost is $10 per person per session. Each session is limited to a maximum of six players, minimum of three. Payment can be made at the Odell Weeks or Smith-Hazel front desks. The receipt must be presented to the instructor at the time of the drill.
If you have signed up for a session and will not be able to attend, please remove your name from the sign-up. Players who do not attend and who have not removed their names at least 24 hours in advance will still be required to pay for the session. Failure to pay for missed sessions will make that person ineligible to sign up for future sessions.
Skill Levels do not matter in Drills with Little Mo. Players rotate hitting balls fed by a ball machine. Doesn't make any difference if you are a beginner or an advanced player. Each player hits approximately five-eight balls in a row and then rotates "Big Mo" will be there to show everyone the proper technique.
Face masks are required for entry into Odell and Smith-Hazel.
