Summer 2022 at Blue Water Theatre Company
The SUZUKI METHOD is a rigorous physical and vocal discipline which strives to restore the wholeness of the body as a tool of theatrical expression. Attention is on the lower body and a vocabulary of footwork, sharpening the actor’s breath control, concentration and commitment to each moment.
VIEWPOINTS is a type of improvisation that cracks open the mysterious elements all performers are challenged with – time and space. Using the Viewpoints gives a group of actors spontaneity and exercises intuition to generate bold, theatrical work. It develops flexibility, strength and articulation in movement while quickly making ensemble interaction possible.
