Summer 2022 at Blue Water Theatre Company
This three day intensive will provide you with opportunity to make a whole lot of exciting and challenging theatre. In this space, there are no 'bad' ideas, only chances to explore. We will work as an ensemble to experiment with a wide variety of methods. Centering around the notion that each human being has a story worth telling, this training empowers students to utilize the tools of the theatre to tell that story. This workshop will build confidence, cultivate skills in teamwork and collaboration, and instill a proclivity for rigor and critical thinking. Inspired by various devising techniques rooted in our respective training, this workshop is for students of all disciplines, interests, and abilities to become storytellers and investigators of theatrical form, radical presence, and collaboration. Full and partial scholarships available.
