Field Day stations 9:40 AM - 12:30 PM *note FD start is 20 mins later then the last two years

School wide family picnic 12:30 PM -1:00 PM

Dear Parents/Guardians:

My name is Michael Santacroce and I’m proud to be your child’s Physical Education teacher here at Waugh Chapel Elementary.  I have been running Field days for many years and it is by far my favorite part of the year for my students and their families.

Field day will only work with your support.  Field Day is set for Thursday, June 7th    I would like to encourage as many parents or family members as possible to help.   I would really like field day to be a community experience. (older siblings -high school or college age are welcome to help run stations too).

Volunteers will arrive at 9:15 AM and stay until 12:30 PM for this fun filled action packed day.  A school wide family picnic will follow once the students complete FD.

Once you are signed up to help run one of our exciting stations, information will follow with specific instructions on where your station is located, how to set up your station and how to successfully run your station.  This information will be provided as field day draws closer.

Please understand that the success of Field Day depends on you.  The more volunteers we have, the smoother it runs for our children. Please arrive promptly in order to get your station set up by 9:20 AM.    Hopefully if we get enough volunteers each of you will have plenty of free time to watch your own children partake in the fun, besides when they rotate through the station you are helping at.  Any parents that helped run a station, I would love to have one experienced person at each station but I understand if you want to switch it up though.

I am looking forward to seeing/meeting you and a day of action packed activities with the kids.  I hope to make Waugh Chapel’s 2018 Field Day a fun, POSITIVE and memorable experience for you and our children.  Thank you all so much for your time and continuous support.
