The AAYBA Texas World Series is one of the largest Youth World Series Baseball Tournament in the country. We will have over 4,000 players representing between 300-400 teams over the two week tournament this summer. As you can imagine, it takes a small army of volunteers to make this World Series event a success. This site will allow our coaches, parents, local businesses, and friends an opportunity to sign-up for the various volunteer tasks.
Volunteer Opportunities for each week include:
- Assistance with team check-in on Saturday (June 15 & June 22nd) prior to Opening Ceremonies
- Assistance with directing the many visitors for various parking needs on June 15 & June 22nd
- Trophy and Award presentations to each winning team on the final day Thursday June 20th and June 27th
- Support for the various "on-field" Skills Challenges on June 15 & June 22nd (Home Run Derby, Fungoman Fielding Challenge, Dick's Sporting Goods Around the Horn Competition and Fastest Player Challenge, etc.)
YOUR TIME SLOTS ACCOUNT FOR 30 MINUTES OF TRAINING PRIOR TO START OF SHIFTS. PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME AND LOOK FOR TRACY ROBERSON UNDER THE MAIN PAVILION AT BAKERSFIELD (overlooking Field ##3) TO CHECK-IN FOR YOUR SHIFT (and to get your t-shirt).
