AAYBA Field Crew
The AAYBA Texas World Series is one of the largest Youth World Series Baseball Tournament in the country. We will have over 4,000 players representing between 300-400 teams over the two week tournament this summer. As you can imagine, it takes a small army of workers to make this World Series event a success. This site will allow our coaches, parents, local businesses, and friends an opportunity to sign-up for the various tasks. Workers must be a Freshman in HS or older.
Week One - June 24 - 28 (7U, 9U, 11U & 13U)
Week Two - July 8 - 12 (8U, 10U, 12U & 14U)
Opportunities for each week include:
- Field Crew - Prepping fields before each game so each team has the full tournament experience. Checking water coolers in dugouts. Keeping fields and surrounding areas clear of all trash. Field crew at offsite facilities are only responsible for water coolers.
- Courtesy Cart - helping people to and from fields
- Water Cart - Prepping water coolers, checking them throughout the day, refilling and taking down at the end of the night.
- Trash Cart - Keeping fields clean and clear of all trash. Emptying trash cans throughout the day.
Days are split into two shifts. Each 8 hour shift will make $60.00, plus a FREE lunch/dinner. All workers will be paid at the end of the week after their last shift. A current 1099 must be be given to the Crew Captain in order to receive your check.
