Mountain View, Rocky Mountain, and Eagle High Schools invite volunteer physicians, physician assitants, physical therapists, nurses, medical students and athletic trainers to help provide the Idaho mandatory pre-participation physical for 9th and 11th graders, as well as transfer/new sophomores or seniors who didn't receive a prior year physical.
This event will take place Tuesday, May 21, 2019, 4-8:30 PM at Mountain View High School (2000 S Millennium Way Meridian, ID 83642) with two-and-a-half hour shifts.
Girls will be screened 4- 6:15 PM; boys will be screened 6:15-8:30 PM. We prefer female or male clinicians screening heart lungs and abs at those times, but will have adult chaperones in exam rooms.
Dinner will be available and volunteer physicians are offered a free West Ada School District 2019-2020 Athletic pass for their participation. (Please note: This pass does not allow you into state competitions.)
All proceeds from the nominal fee of $20 reverts back to the student's high school for various athletic training equipment or use.
Sponsored by Ada County Medical Society Foundation.
