Do you love art? Our Art Masterpiece Lead, Jennifer Wildermuth Reyes, needs adult volunteers for each classroom to teach the Art Masterpiece Program.
Art Masterpiece is an enrichment program where volunteers use reproductions of fine works of art to promote art literacy in children. Art is an integral part of life and the Art Masterpiece Program is a chance to stimulate the students' thought, perception, and imagination. In the end, students attain a greater awareness of the world around them. Volunteers called "Art Guides" bring prints to the classroom and present a lesson and art activity planned for a particular grade level.

Who runs and teaches Art Masterpiece?
We all do! This program's success hinges fully on parent participation and volunteers. Because of this, we created this site to help volunteers and give you the resources you need to have fun with your classroom.
What Art Masterpiece IS:
Parent volunteers prepare and present a 5-15 minute lesson on an artist or an art form based on lesson plans available on this website and the classroom folders. Then the volunteer leads the class in an art project inspired by the lesson.
What Art Masterpiece IS NOT:
A program only for creative or artist parents. Any adult can participate, and you don't have to be breative - just organized and willing.
