Deerfield Family Theater
Deerfield Family Theater is excited to announce auditions for our November 2022 production of BIG FISH! Auditions are open to adults, teens and children (entering 4th grade and up). They will be held at Jewett Park Community Center, 836 Jewett Park Dr., Deerfield, on August 24 and 25 from 6-9:00pm, and August 27 from 11:00am-2:00pm. Callbacks will be by invitation on August 28 from 11:00am-4:00pm.
Please prepare 32 bars of a musical theater song in a similar genre, and bring sheet music (marked with beginning and end) in the key of your choice. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring a headshot and resume if you have one. Here's what to expect: You will sign up for an hour long audition slot half of which you will spend learning and performing a dance and the other half you will spend at the singing portion of the audition. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing to dance in.
Performances dates are November 11-13 and November 18-20, 2022 at the NSSRA Auditorium: 1221 Lake Cook Rd, Highland Park.
