MEB Volunteers

Milwaukee Empty Bowls Volunteer Sign Up 2019

It's our 21st annual event!

Did you realize we've raised almost $825,000 since we started? Amazing -- and so are you!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Milwaukee Empty Bowls annual fundraiser!

Our event will be held Sunday, October 13, 11 AM - 2 PM

Location: MSOE Kern Center, 1245 N. Broadway, in downtown Milwaukee. Parking is available; more information will be provided closer to the event.

Most volunteers are needed on October 13th. You'll notice we also need a little help the day before for set-up. Most shifts allow time for you to also enjoy the event as a guest before or after your shift. These shifts are short, so there isn't break during your volunteer time. The few shifts that cover the entire event period include a break.

MSOE students: Please note "MSOE" in the comments. Add your organization if you'd like.

T-shirts: If you are part of an organization, you are welcome to wear your team shirt to show your pride. MEB volunteers returning from last year, please wear your light blue t-shirt. Help keep costs down to allow us to distribute more to our recipient organizations. We will have t-shirts available for new volunteers.

About us: Milwaukee Empty Bowls is a one-of-a kind fundraiser that brings the community together to enjoy the work of area artists, restaurants and entertainers to benefit Milwaukee area food programs. The organization will build on last year’s record event where 2,000 people were served and $67,000 raised in support of local food programs. Learn more about this year's event.

*Volunteers must be 16 or older.
