Thank you for everyone's help on a successful Adopt-A-Home these past few months. That home is complete and we are back to our old schedule of the second Saturday of each odd month. Our next work day is coming up - Saturday May 11th.

Task: Install Interior Trim
Age Requirement: Must be 16 or older. Must be 18 or older to use power tools.

If a volunteer registers him/herself for the shift via HFHC’s online registration system, he/she does not need to fill out a hardcopy of the Standard Release of Liability Form (it will have been read and electronically signed). However, If a HFHC staff member or a group leader registered on his/her behalf, please have the volunteer fill out a hardcopy waiver beforehand or upon arrival to site. ALL volunteers should sign the sign-in sheet to confirm attendance.
16 & 17 YEAR OLD VOLUNTEERS: In addition to the aforementioned waiver, which is read & electronically signed during the online registration system, all 16 & 17 year olds must print the Release of Liability for Minors Form and have it completed by a parent/legal guardian. The form should be brought the day of the shift.

Lunch is not provided by HFHC unless otherwise advised by HFHC staff. Drinking water and all necessary tools & safety equipment will be provided by HFHC. Closed-toed footwear (work boots or athletic sneakers only) is required. We recommend bringing your own work gloves, if available.
The HFHC staff makes every effort to keep build schedules on track. However, due to occasional inclement weather and necessary adjustments to house schedules, your group’s task is subject to change. We will confirm as the shift date approaches

REMINDER: The online registration process allows the required Standard Release of Liability Form to be read & electronically signed.
VOLUNTEER GROUP ID
STEP 1: Go to the Habitat Charlotte Group Shift Search link: https://habitatcltvolunteers.force.com/apex/VolunteerGroupSearch
STEP 2: Enter your group ID number (above)
STEP 3: Check the box next to the group name; Click “SELECT”
STEP 4: On the Volunteer Group Shift Search page, click “SEARCH” and your team’s scheduled shift(s) will appear. Choose the desired shift(s) and click “SELECT”
NEW USER/VOLUNTEER: Click “New User” to be prompted to create a new account.
EXISTING USER/RETURNING VOLUNTEER: Your volunteer account email is your username. If you've forgotten your password, you can request a new one by clicking "Forgot Your Password?"
Please note: Our database has upgraded its security. You must use Windows 7 or newer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
After completing the registration, the shift and details will appear on the volunteer’s account. An automated confirmation email with full shift details will be sent to each registrant. A reminder email will also be sent.
