The Interfaith Works Women's Shelter, in Rockville, is a congregation and community supported shelter that provides rehabilative services for homeless women in our community. PPC volunteers deliver meals for 30 homeless women on the first Sunday of every month to be served at 6:30pm. Please contact Natalie Rudnic ([email protected]) with questions.
If preferred, you can just provide food and you do not need to volunteer to assist at the dinner. You can drop food off at PPC any time up to 6:00 pm., including on Sunday morning when you attend the worship service.
Please sign up to provide one or more of the listed food items. Items do not have to be exactly as listed. If you would rather provide something different, e.g. chili instead of beef casserole, please indicate this in the comments column. If you can, please select at least two or more of the slots. Food must be thoroughly cooked before it is brought to the church, and preferably still hot if you bring it just before the dinner.
