Restoration Church and Embry Ruckers Shelter Volunteers
Welcome back to the North County Hypothermia Ministry Dinners with Restoration Church for the 2019 season! Once again, we will be providing meals for homeless residents in the temporary shelter held at the North County Human Services Building.
With this service opportunity there are opportunities for volunteers to provide portions of a meal or to serve the meal to the residents. Please note the following important details prior to signing up to provide a portion of a meal! All warm foods should be heated prior to bringing to the center. Please do not drop any warm food off early – we have no way to warm the food back up. Remember to bring in disposable containers and serving utensils to serve your portion of the meal – we cannot return dishes.
Those providing portions of a meal drop-off time is 5:15pm. Those volunteering to serve the meal to the residents should arrive by 5:15pm and expect to stay until 6:45pm.
Megan Groves is coordinating the ministry this year and looks forward to working with everyone! If you need any assistance or have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to email at any time ([email protected]). And, if it is the night of a meal service, feel free to call (703)581-8064.
5:15pm - 5:25pm EST
North County Human Services Center is at 1840 Cameron Glen Drive
