Wizard of Oz Committee Sign Up

We need YOU to put on the show!  Part of MPRCS Drama Club is our required volunteer commitment. 

Parents are asked to sign up for at least 3 hours as a rehearsal monitor.  Every family is being asked to have clearances on file this year because every family is asked to serve minimum of 3 hours.  Safe Environment policies dictate that there needs to be two adults at every rehearsal or we cannot hold a rehearsal.  Rehearsal Monitors are the responsible adults in the building who help watch the kids for their safety, keep them quiet, help line them up for scenes, help dismiss at the end of rehearsal and two adults must stay until the last child is picked up.

Parents should sign up for at least ONE committee.  We have provided information on the drama club website about our different committees or you can reach out to producers with questions.  There are plenty of needs… being with the kids, being far far away from the kids, done from home, done from work, weekdays, weekends, evenings, using creativity, using organizational skills, using people skills.  Please find your fit and help us out!  If you have an idea of how you can help that is not listed, don’t hesitate to offer.

Parents are asked to work during one show on show weekend.  This can look like helping backstage, helping in the classrooms where the kids wait, working a snack bar or raffle booth.  We ask that all families work one show so that all families have a chance to be audience members and watch their kids.
