Entry Fee: $25 (cash) per person to be collected on the first day of play. Turn in fees with the scorecards on day one.

Sign-Up Instructions: Click on the signup button below. This is a two-day tournament and you must sign up for both days. Just put a check in the box to play and click "Sign Up Now". A second screen will appear to confirm your choice. In the comment section, note your name and the name of your partner- IE: Jane Doe with Mary Smith. (There is no need for Mary Smith to sign up as her name appears next to your name. Make sure you sign up as A TEAM and not as individuals.) Should you need to remove your name, just click on the "X" under your name. A second screen will appear reconfirming removal of your name. Click "Yes-Delete". Double check to make sure your name is removed.

Prizes:  THIS IS A TWO-DAY TOURNAMENT AND REQUIRES PARTICIPATION ON BOTH DAYS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR PRIZE MONEY. Teams will be flighted. Flighting will be determined by the handicap of the A player on each team. The flighted teams with the lowest score over the four nine-hole formats win. Closest to the pin on hole #17 on Panthers (Day 1) and closest to the pin on hole #6 (Day 2) will also be awarded. The number of team prizes and flights will be determined based upon the number of participants.

Awards Presentation:  There will be an awards presentation and a light dinner at Tamers after the game on Wednesday evening.

Miscellaneous:   In the event of inclement weather, the tournament directors will notify the players if the game is canceled or called and how the prizes will be awarded. We will not be able to reschedule the event, so every attempt will be made to be the most equitable in awarding prizes.

Note:   IF THE PARTNERS ON A TEAM HAVE MORE THAN AN 8 (EIGHT) STROKE DIFFERENTIAL IN THEIR COURSE HANDICAPS, THEN THEIR TEAM HANDICAPS WILL BE REDUCED BY 10% WHEN DETERMINING NET STROKES, PER THE USGA GUIDELINES. THIS DIFFERENTIAL PENALTY APPLIES TO THE CRIERS' NINE AND BETTER BALL FORMATS.

Directors: Melanie Kelley and Judy Harlow

Day One: Panther's Run - Nov. 12th

Holes #1 - 9       Alternate Shot

Holes 1-9 (Alternate Shot): The team should decide which partner will tee off on even numbered holes and which partner will tee off on odd numbered holes. Then the team members will hit alternate shots until the ball is holed. No gimmes and play the ball down. (Handicap is 25% of the sum of the partners' handicaps.)

                                Holes #10 - 18          Criers' Nine

Holes #10-18 (Criers' Nine): On each hole, the teams select the lower net score of the two partners and record that as the team score. Each team must use at least three net scores from each partner.  After the nine holes are played, drop the two highest net scores from the total team score. (100% handicap)

(IF THE PARTNERS ON A TEAM HAVE MORE THAN AN 8 (EIGHT) STROKE DIFFERENTIAL IN THEIR COURSE HANDICAPS, THEN THEIR TEAM HANDICAPS WILL BE REDUCED BY 10% WHEN DETERMINING NET STROKES.)

Handicapping Information:

Holes 1-9 Alternate Shot: The team handicap is 25% of the sum of the partners' handicaps.

Holes 10-18 Criers' Nine: Each team member's handicap will be 100% of their current GHIN handicap for Panthers Run. However, if the partners on a team have more than an 8 stroke difference in their GHIN course handicap, then their handicaps will be reduced by 10% when determining net strokes. Dots will be indicated on scorecards.

Rules: No gimmes. Play the ball down unless course conditions warrant a change which will be announced on Monday morning prior to the start of play. Any changes will also be indicated on the scorecards. The back nine scores are postable.

USGA and local rules apply with the following exception: On Panthers Run hole #18, the ball must be hit over the water hazard. THERE IS NO DROP ZONE ON HOLE #18.

Day Two: Lion's Paw - Nov. 14th

Holes #1 - 9  Better Ball of Partner

Holes 1-9 Better Ball of Partners: On each hole, the teams select the lower net score of the two partners and record that as the team score. Each team must use at least three net scores from each partner. (100 % of handicaps, unless the partners on a team have more than an 8 stroke difference in their GHIN course handicap, then their handicaps will be reduced by 10%.)

Holes #10 - 18  Scramble

Holes 10-18 Scramble: Both players tee off, pick the best tee shot, and then both hit the second ball from there. The partners select the best second shot and both hit the ball from this location. This process is repeated until the ball is holed. The ball must be placed within one club length of the shot be chosen (within 6 inches on the green) and must remain in the same condition (ie., if the selected ball lands in the rough, then both shots must be played from the rough). Teams must use at least three drives from each player.

Handicapping Information:

Holes 1-9  Better Ball of Partners:  Each team member's handicap will be 100% of their current GHIN handicap for Lions Paw.  However, if the partners on a team have more than an 8 stroke difference in their GHIN course handicap, then their handicaps will be reduced by 10% when determining net strokes.  Dots will be indicated on the scorecards.

Holes 10-18 Scramble:  The team handicap will be calculated by using 35% of the A player's handicap plus 15% of the B player's handicap divided by two.  Dots will be indicated on the scorecards.

Rules: No gimmes. Play the ball down unless course conditions warrant a change which will be announced on Wednesday prior to the start of play. Any changes will also be indicated on the scorecards. The front nine scores are postable. USGA and local rules apply.

Scorecards: Signed and attested scorecards must be dropped off at the conclusion of play each day to the back room of the Pro Shop.
