*Attention* All volunteers MUST wear closed-toe shoes in order to enter our warehouse. We are also taking additional precautions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, please see below for more information. Thank you!
We look forward to meeting you at the Out of the Garden Project Warehouse. Your donation of time is invaluable in helping us get our bags and supplies ready each week.
In an effort to keep volunteers at Out of the Garden Project safe, all volunteers should wash their hands upon entry and leaving. They should not touch their face or cell phone while preparing or handling food - if they need to do so, they should wash their hands again. We also ask that everyone wear gloves and masks while engaging in their activities. Gloves and masks are provided by Out of the Garden Project but we also encourage volunteers to bring their own masks if they desire to do so.
We ask all visitors with any significant cough, fever, shortness of breath, or other flu-like symptoms to not volunteer at this time. We also are sorry to ask that no children under the age of 16 volunteer in the warehouse at this time.
Per Governor Cooper's guidlines, we are attempting to maintain a low risk environment while increasing volunteer opportunities. Therefore, we have divided existing sessions into 2 in order to provide the necessary distancing needed.
