Ballard High School Performing Arts
Band Camp is back on the table! We are so excited to be able to offer this amaving opportunity to our students. It is a fabulous way for students to build their new band community, to blow the dust off those instruments, and to learn their new marching steps. For our older students, the leadership opportunities at camp help them to move into new roles as sections leaders and the 'big kids' on campus.
For parents, it's a great way to meet fellow band parents and to get to know the great kids your child will get to hang out with for the year. It's fairly low key, a great chance to socialize, play some cards, hem some marching band uniforms, or sit by the lake and read a book.
We leave from school at the end of day on Friday September 9 and return Sunday September 11 around 5pm.
All parents must be approved by SPS as parent volunteers. We encourage you to do this in June to ensure that processing happens before school starts. If you are already approved, please verify the expiration date on your approval by logging in the Volunteer Portal.
