We are looking forward to 2 very exciting events taking place at the end of the school year for our 8th graders. The WRB PTSA is looking for your help to make both of these events a success.
8th Grade Promotion Dance Wednesday, June 13th (5:30-8:30).
8th Grade Promotion Breakfast Thursday, June 14th from 8:00 AM-9:00 AM.
We are looking for help with food, set-up, clean-up, and volunteers to help during the events. For the dance, we are looking parents of 6th and 7th grade parents to help during the dance. This gives students and parents of 8th graders time to enjoy this special evening.
Important Information regarding food items being donated
If you are able to donate, make sure all food donations are clearly labeled if the item contains peanuts/nuts/nut products. We request that store bought items include an ingredient list.
Please label all items being dropped off with "8th grade Breakfast" or "8th grade Dance". Clearly mark all food (preferably disposable containers) with student name if you would like your container returned.
Raffle Items - We are looking for prize donations for our Raffle taking place at the Dance. All 8th graders attending the dance will have name entered in the raffle. Prize suggestions - Gift cards (Dunkin Donuts, Panera, Starbucks, Amazon, Barnes and Nobles, Itunes, McDonald's, Wendy's, etc.), Water bottles or straw cups filled with nut-free candy, Pinkerton Apparel, or Movie Passes.
Donating an item for the Candy Bar?
We need a variety of candy to create a "rainbow" display at our candy bar that will be set-up at the dance. All candy must be wrapped and contain no nuts/peanuts/nut products. Please refer to the sign-up below for items we are looking for.
When to drop off your donated item(s)?
Non-perishable items, water, and juice boxes can be dropped off during school hours until June 13th. (Dance items need to be dropped off by 9:00 AM on June 13th)
Perishable food items for the Breakfast can be dropped off outside the WRB cafeteria from 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM on June 14th.
No time to shop but would like to help? Monetary donations are gratefully accepted. Please send in Cash or checks (payable to WRBMS PTSA) in a clearly marked envelope "8th grade Celebration"
We are hoping to have a photo booth at the dance this year. Money collected will be used to be able to bring this exciting "extra" to the dance. Students will have unlimited access to the photo booth, props will be provided, and kids using the booth will receive the photo strip at no additional cost to them at the dance. Please sign up below if you plan to make a monetary donation.
In addition to food, we need help with set-up and clean-up for both the dance and breakfast. We are reaching out to 6th and 7th grade parents for help during the dance.
Can I sign up for more than one item on this list? Absolutely!
