This year will bring to light some of our best-kept secrets about sustainable living, like our gardens, our homes and those places we all share. You will hear lively songs about the bay, find out how scientists and local citizens have learned to protect our waterways, appreciate native animal and plant life rich in diversity, see art inspired by Nature, and enjoy great food and company!
The 17th annual Greenbelt Green Man Festival is a celebration of historic Greenbelt's commitment to preserve its acres of forests, bring awareness of nature’s intimate relationship with our lives, and celebrate the creative energies of the community. This year, we will gaither in the heart of Greenbelt to invite the spirit of the Green Man back into our shared Spring. We have all waited for the green light to start again, to be with one another and to sing, dance and share ideas face to face.
Festival activities will reconnect us to the folklore of ancient civilizations through science, art, music, and myth by featuring many local artists, musicians, and performers from Maryland as well as other parts of the country.
