Mental Health First Aid Training

The SF Division of Student Affairs is pleased to offer Mental Health First Aid training. This training helps participants understand how to help students/visitors/staff members who may be experiencing a mental health related crisis or problem on campus. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions.


As we focus on continuous improvement, service excellence and campus safety in an environment where many people are experiencing mental health issues or problems, this course helps to equip staff with the tools needed to safely intervene and make appropriate referrals.


The first of two training sessions will be offered Tuesday, October 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in S326. Lunch will be provided. There are 22 seats available. Staff and faculty may sign up at:
