Field Day will be on Friday June 14 (rain date is Monday June 17) and is fast approaching. Lots of volunteers are needed to make this event successful. We will have lunch catered by The Market this year, so we’ll need a few volunteers for lunch as well as for field day stations in the morning.
- You will be asked to indicate whether or not you are also available to volunteer on the rain date which is Monday June 17. If more people sign up than are needed, priority will be given to volunteers who can help on both the scheduled day of Friday June 14 AND the rain date of Monday June 17. All other available slots will then be filled in lottery style and extra volunteers will be placed on a waitlist.
-This registration will close on Monday June 10. Please look for an email on or around June 12. This email will give you your station assignment and will explain your station and how the point system works. Please read this email carefully and all the way through.
-You will be asked to choose which grade group you would like to volunteer for and you will be assigned accordingly to either the PRES Lower Fields (areas with play equipment) with 3rd through 5th graders or the PRES Upper Field (baseball) with the K through 2nd graders.
BBQ- If you would like to work with both age groups of children, please consider volunteering for lunch. It’s fast and furious and you get to see all the grades. The shift starts at 10:30 and ends by 12:30. We will reserve a spots in the parking lot for volunteers working the lunch shift.
-Rain date- in case of inclement weather, the mavens of PRES will make their decision by 6:30 AM. We will then send out an email. Please check your email on the morning of the 14th before you head to the school.
