2019 8U State Volunteer Sign-ups

Dear Parents/Guardians:

BFA is again hosting the 8U State Tournament. This tournament is a great way to give our youngest players a great experiance and cement their love of the game. We need your help to make it a success!

As a reminder, each family is required to volunteer for 3-4 shifts (a total of 9 hours per player or 12 hours per family) during the season. We are hoping that 8U families concentrate their required volunteer hours during this tournament, as our older families will also have tournaments at the same time out of town. 

A 2 hour Grill shift counts as 4 hours! Cut your volunteer time in half!! Sign-up ASAP!

When signing up, please add your player's name and team name in the comments section for tracking purposes. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your shift and sign-in at the volunteer/info tent in the wheel. 

You aslo have an option to fulfill your parent volunteer requirement at the BASH or the 10U Mall of America Nationals. The BASH is June 7-9, and the 10U Mall of America Nationals tournament will be held July 31 through August 3. You will receive a separate invitation to sign up for these tournaments.

Volunteer Rain/Weather Policy - Only shifts completed up until the tournament is canceled, including the shift in which they are in, will be counted as completed hours. For instance if a shift is 12-3 p.m. and the tournament is canceled at 1 p.m. that entire shift will be counted. Shifts after that time, however, would not be counted. After a rain cancellation, if opportunities still exist for hours, families will be expected to take them, i.e. rain out Bash and openings at Monsta, please sign-up for shifts at Monsta.
