2022 Taste Edmonds Beer & Wine Tent

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Taste Edmonds 2022's Beer & Wine Tent.

Taste Edmonds is a fundraiser that donates thousands of dollars each year to local service groups as well as funds the free events that the Edmonds Chamber puts on for the community like the 4th of July, the Tree Lighting Ceremony and Halloween Trick-Or-Treat Night. Proceeds from the Beer & Wine Garden make up a large percentage of these donations!

Please be thoughtful of the shifts that you commit to. The Chamber is counting on you to fulfil this job.

BEER & WINE TENT VOLUNTEERS MUST BE 21+.

EACH INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEER MUST SIGN UP - WE NEED CONTACT INFO FOR EVERY VOLUNTEER TO BE ABLE TO SEND OUT IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR SHIFT

You will be trained on identifying intoxicated guests and who to notify if you suspect a guest should be "cut-off". Please read the attachment below regarding recognizing & dealing with intoxicated persons and watch this video before your shift on safe practices for selling alcohol: Last Call Video https://lcb.wa.gov/mastrvp/last-call-video

Please also note that it is illegal for volunteers to consume alcohol before or during their shift. You are more than welcome to purchase and drink alcohol after your shift, just make sure to change out of your volunteer shirt or badge first.

Any supplies needed to perform your tasks will be provided. Please dress accordingly for the weather and the job. Clothes that can get dirty, closed-toed shoes, etc. Pack a full water bottle.

While we will do our best to place you in the position you sign up for, there is a chance that we may need to move you to a different job depending on the event's needs and your specific skills. Thank you for your flexibility.

You will be emailed more detailed instructions about your volunteer shift a week before. Please keep an eye out!
