In conjunction with Habitat for Humanity of McLean Co., St. Patrick Church of Merna and the Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a “Wall Build” on Saturday May 14, 2022 in the St. Patrick’s Church parking lot. The walls built will be for a 3 Bedroom Habitat Home in your community, helping a local family become first time homeowners. To make this event a success we need your support. Volunteer opportunities include: Wall Assembler, Runners, Group Leader, Breakfast and Snack/Drink volunteers, Prayer Vigil volunteers, All volunteers must be 10 years and older (10-18 years of age must be accompanied by legal guardian), and will need to complete a diocesan waiver form. If helping assemble walls, you will may bring your own claw hammer or one will be provided. No power tools will be used or required to assemble walls.
7:30 AM - ROSARY: all parishioners and volunteers are welcome to say the rosary in the church
8:00 AM - MASS: all parishioners and volunteers are invited to attend mass in the church
8:30 AM - Pancake Breakfast for volunteers
8:45 AM - Welcome & Team formation and logistics meeting
9:00 AM - Wall Build Kickoff
11:45 AM - Wrap up and transport wall to home destination
