Oak Hill Parents

8th Grade Tile Legacy Project

In an Oak Hill tradition, every 8th grader decorates a ceramic tile that is then attached permanently to the wall in the school hallway.  When you walk into the school, you can see the lovely tiles on the display wall on the left, and on the top of the walls around the school. This is a parent-led project that requires a lot of help and creativity.  Students are given a practice sheet to design their tile in advance, and on the day of the event, parents are needed in each of our 9 classrooms to assist students with art supplies and design. Finally, we need parents to help organize the project and take charge of finalizing the tiles after the students are done. 6th, 7th and 8th grade parent volunteers welcome!! Please help us with this fun and existing project! Detailed instructions will be provided.
