Meal Planner every day, 2-hour shifts: plan meal, purchase ingredients (reimbursement available). Breakfast 7-9am. Lunch 11:30am-1:30pm. Dinner 5:30-7:30pm.
Meal help every day, 2-hour shifts: help prepare and clean up meal
Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, 4-hours: A flexible shift. Indicate in comment section how long you will stay and if you will provide some activity during that time. This role offers your presence and accompaniment. In other words, you get to hang out with our guests. An activity is not necessary, but can be a fun way to provide companionship and get to know our guests. Some suggestions: craft projects, music, bake cookies, play games, entertain children, take a walk to Catalina Park, etc.!
Shift volunteers also prepare travel bags for families leaving on that day, prepare cots for new guests, help guests use washer/dryer, and other tasks as needed. Instructions available on site.
