Saint Francis Feeds
St Francis has the privilege of providing breakfast to guests of Oak City Outreach Center, every other month, on the second Saturday of the month. Thank you for your willingness to help!
We are thrilled to be able to do this, for it provides another beautiful way for parishioners and their families to live out our Gospel call to mercy and service to folks in need.
Won't you join us ... Saturday February 9, 2019?
A simple breakfast of sausage and chicken biscuits, fruit, vegetables, coffee and water will be served. Volunteers are needed to provide parts of the meal and to serve the meal. Volunteers are needed to visit with guests in the dining room at OCOC. St Francis will order and purchase the biscuits and the other needs are below.
Oak City Outreach Center, located at 215 South Person St., Raleigh, 27601 is an outreach center to the hungry and homeless of downtown Raleigh near Moore Square. If you plan to serve or visit with guests with us at OCOC navigate to 313 East Martin Street, Raleigh, NC 27601. The entrance to their parking lot that usually has lots of spaces available in the morning is on East Martin Street. 313 is the address of the building next to this parking lot. If you navigate here you will end up right next to the parking lot. The parking lot is surrounded by parts of a chain link fence. So look around and you’ll find it. There is also parking on the streets nearby if it is full. (Note: If you navigate to the Person Street address, it will lead you astray with no place to park.)
