Let's feed the hungry together with the Social Action Committee.
Please know that Pastor Bullock and the recipients of these lunches are so very thankful for these meals!
In the spirit of Mitzvot, join us to make Brown Bag lunches on Sunday, April 11th at 10:00 a.m. at home from your very own kitchen. You can make one bagged lunch or as many as you want!
The lunches are going to the Living Faith Church, "Bread of Life" Food Pantry and Children's Lunch Bag Ministry in Palatine.
Each lunch bag will contain:
Two (2) deli sandwiches - 2 to 3 oz. meat between 2 pieces of bread x 2 (no spread)
One (1) string cheese
One (1) baggie of carrots
One (1) piece of fruit
One (1) bag of chips
One (1) bottled water or boxed drink
Two (2) cookies
Two (2) napkins
Two (2) mustard and two (2) mayo packets (free at most deli counters) optional
Please write on your bag what type of sandwiches you made.
Please deliver your lunches on Sunday from 1:00-1:30 p.m. to Pastor Bullock's home at 1151 Glenwood Lane in Hoffman Estates. Let us know if you need assistance with the delivery!
Need financial help? You can still join us to make lunches. Just email your receipts for reimbursement to [email protected].
Busy and can't join us? Show your support by making a donation. Sign into your account on Shul Cloud or send in a check payable to Beth Tikvah Congregation with the notation "Brown Baggers".
Your Mitzvah in taking part is a beautiful thing! So many are in need right now.
