JediJill's Bot Club
Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021 ---The times and grade levels will likely change after I get the new schedule for the next semester ---sometime after Jan. 26.
World Read Aloud Day has evolved into a global movement of millions of readers, writers, and listeners from communities all across the world coming together to honor the joy and power of reading and sharing stories, and continue expanding the definition and scope of global literacy.
This year we will be listening to chapters read aloud from the following books:
"B is for BattBots" by Andrea Gellatly
"Awesome Dawson" by Chris Gall
"House of Robots" by James Patterson **We will listen to chapters of this story read aloud by many participants from "BattleBots." These videos were sent in for last year's event.
And a video reading of "Violet the Pilot" by Steve Breen will be played from last year's WRAD event, read by the amazing Jen Herchenroeder.
If you do not have the book you want to read from, I might be able to find it and message your part to you for you to record --or you can select a time to video chat with us live.
Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank y'all!
