Create a Ripple!

Explore how our actions impact others, as well as the world around us. Choose from a variety of classes and activities that will inspire you to create a ripple. 

Summer Arts Camp for Adults and Kids

August 5th-9th

6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

$25 per person/$75 maximum per family

cost includes snacks, dinner on Friday, and all activities

Nightly rate- $10 per person

Schedule Monday - Thursday

6:00-6:30- Gathering: Everyone gathers for opening activities and music

6:30-7:15- Open Space:  Participants will move freely among stations on jewelry making, bird feeders, mosaics, sewing, succulents,  music jam session, games and more.  

7:15-8:10- Workshops:  Middle schoolers, High Schoolers and Adults may sign up for one workshop each night .  Some workshops require a 2-night commitment and other workshops are offered for one night. Kindergarten-5th graders will sign up for the Kid's workshop only. 6th and 7th graders may choose to sign up for the Kid's workshop any of the nights.

8:15-8:30 Closing

Schedule Friday 

On Friday, dinner will be provided.  We will gather together for a closing program.

Registration Information

Each participant will need to complete a registration form.  Each person will need to make a workshop choice for each night.  If a particular workshop does not have enough participants, we may need to cancel that workshop. We may also add more workshop spots if there is one with high interest.

K-5th graders will sign up for the Kid's Workshop.  The Kid's workshop will consist of a variety of activities incorporating art and science.

Cash or check payments may be sent to the church office.  Please specify "Arts Camp" in the memo.  Yorba Linda Presbyterian Church, 19301 E Yorba Linda Blvd, Yorba Linda, CA 92886

Nightly Dinner Option

Dinner will be served each night between 5:15 and 6:00.  There will be an additional cost $5 per person per meal and $3 for children 10 and under. If you would like to purchase a dinner, please mark it on the registration form.

Menu- 

Monday:  Chicken or cheese enchiladas with salad and tortilla chips and salsa

Tuesday: Penne pasta with various meats and veggies (choose your own sauce) and  green salad bar 

Wednesday: BBQ pork or chicken sliders with tropical cole slaw and baked beans

Thursday:  BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs with potato salad and cajun carrot salad

Friday: catered dinner (included in registration)
