Join us for our 4th Annual Tikkunapalooza! on Sunday, April 28! It's our congregational wide community service mitzvah day! There is something for everyone! Details for each sight are below (please watch for age restrictions) and keep scrolling to see all your choices!

9:00 am - Continental Breakfast & Community Gathering

9:30 am - Depart for Project locations

Noon     - Conclusion of Tikkunpalooza 2019! Thanks so much for your help today!

Moms2B (30)

All ages. Come and be creative making handmade cards for new moms and babies! Assemble new mom hospital bags with donated items. Location: JCC, Site leader: Jodi Schulman


Jewish Family Services (15)

All ages. Create gift tags and assemble men's toiletry bags for refugees, aging out foster boys and men trying to become independent. Location: JCC, Site leader: Laura Schulman


Creekside at the Village (30)

All ages. Sing-along and decorating cookies with the senior citizens and Cantor Moses at Creekside at the Village. Location: Creekside at the Village, Berwick, Site leader: Cantor Moses


Life Care Alliance (20)

All ages. Do short training at Life Care Alliance and then deliver already-prepared food to families. Location: neighborhoods in Columbus, Site leader: Aimee Sanders


Ronald McDonald House (15)

All Ages. Prepare and serve lunch to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. Location: Ronald McDonald House, Site leader: Marilyn Mendelman

Trinity Episcopal Church (20)

All ages. Prepare and serve lunch to 100 people in need. This event may run a bit later than noon. Location: Trinity Episcopal Church, Site leaders: Lesli & Mike Mautz


Love and Hugs (20)

All ages. Will make a bear at Build-a-Bear to donate to Zussman Hospice patients. Location: Build-a-Bear at Easton, Site leader: Jennie Cammayer

Creekside at the Village (10)

7 yrs. or older. You'll be polishing the nails of the seniors at Creekside. Come help pamper them for the morning! Location: Creekside at the Village, Berwick. Site leader: Samantha Bark


Jordan's Crossing (20)

10 yrs old and older. Make hand-tied blankets for those in need in the Hilltop and package men's toiletries for the Hilltop community. Location: JCC, Site leader: Bev Darwin

Hilltop Community Worship Center (15)

12 yrs. old or older. Help organize the Hilltop Boutique where items are distributed to those in need in the community. We will also clean the kitchen where weekly meals are prepared. Location: Hilltop Community Worship Ctr, Site leaders: Liz & Mitch Snay


Nationwide Children's Hospital (10)

BBYO students only. Hand-tied blankets made by BBYO students will be donated to children at NCH along with toys to fill the toy closets located on each floor of the hospital. Location: JCC/NCH, Site leader: Cooper Solomon
